Biography

My research interests lie in the areas of emotion and the sense of agency. The focus of my current work is on the emotional determinants of aging, health, and well-being. I aim to investigate the neural connectivity underlying affective coloring in middle-aged individuals, and its relationship to the sense of control. My previous work investigated the neural mechanisms underlying emotional facial expression perception and the sense of agency using various neuroimaging techniques, including functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), magnetoencephalography (MEG), electroencephalogram (EEG), and stereoelectroencephalography (sEEG).
